Tom Richards

Tom Richards is the Principal and Founder of TWR Company, a boutique real estate investment ownership and operating company in Scottsdale, Arizona. Tom started his career in 2000, and has a 20+ year track record in commercial real estate investments, re-development, and ground up development acting as a preferred developer for several national clients. Tom has repositioned over 100 properties as an owner/operator/developer handling all facets of a project from start to finish.

Tom is responsible for investment sourcing and underwriting of all acquisitions, due diligence, strategy creation and execution, capital and financial structures, development, asset management, construction management, and dispositions. Areas of focus and expertise include creative and insightful solutions for: Distressed debt/properties, value add properties, workouts, foreclosures, property maximization, redevelopment of existing properties, and ground up development. He is a licensed Arizona self employed designated broker.

Tom is an entrepreneur and adventurer at heart, and focuses on doing projects that resonate on some level personally to him, and does them with people that are enjoyable, trustworthy, and perform.

His prior experience includes leasing and investment sale brokerage of retail, industrial, and office properties. Tom is a graduate of Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate. Tom lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his four children. He enjoys adventure travel, ocean sports, dirt bikes, yoga, and spending time with his family.
