Our Team

Tom Richards is the Principal and Founder of TWR Company, a boutique real estate investment ownership and operating company in Scottsdale, Arizona. Tom started his career in 2000, and has a 20+ year track record in commercial real estate investments, re-development, and ground up development acting as a preferred developer for several national clients. Tom has repositioned over 100 properties as an owner/operator/developer handling all facets of a project from start to finish.

Tom is responsible for investment sourcing and underwriting of all acquisitions, due diligence, strategy creation and execution, capital and financial structures, development, asset management, construction management, and dispositions. Areas of focus and expertise include creative and insightful solutions for: Distressed debt/properties, value add properties, workouts, foreclosures, property maximization, redevelopment of existing properties, and ground up development. He is a licensed Arizona self employed designated broker.

Tom is an entrepreneur and adventurer at heart, and focuses on doing projects that resonate on some level personally to him, and does them with people that are enjoyable, trustworthy, and perform.

His prior experience includes leasing and investment sale brokerage of retail, industrial, and office properties. Tom is a graduate of Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate. Tom lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his four children and enjoys adventure travel, ocean sports, dirt bikes, yoga, and spending time with his family.

Eric began his career in commercial real estate in 2005 immediately after graduation from the University of Arizona. He joined Cavan Real Estate Investments in the property management division. He was responsible for management of everything from Class A office space to Over 55 housing communities. His role quicky evolved into the development arm the company as he was integral in the development of Seven Canyons Sedona as well as Raintree Corporate Center III and IV.
Eric was led to Navisworks, a startup software company while he was working to navigate the many trades in the development of Class A office space. Navisworks afforded Eric the unique opportunities of consulting on some of the largest Las Vegas developments, including Encore, Cosmopolitan and City Center.
After the completion of the Las Vegas projects Eric joined his family with Fry Investment Company. At this time, he was instrumental in bringing development projects to the family office while also responsible for the leasing and management of nearly 700,000 sf of shopping center space.
Eric excels at looking at projects through a different lens and enjoys taking on projects that might not fit the retail developer mold. His different experiences while working on multibillion dollar projects to single tenant in tertiary towns has provided a full scope of views he uses to his advantage.
Eric lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and daughter and enjoys coaching his daughter’s soccer team and spending time at the beach with his family.

Jon Fry is a Property Manager located in Scottsdale, AZ. He has over 23 years of experience specializing in commercial real estate and property development. Past managed properties include retail shopping centers, medical plazas, and restaurants. Jon excels in customer communication and building long lasting relationships with tenants and vendors. He has created these relationships by building trust and being receptive to their feedback about rental space and experience as tenant. Jon has managed and leased many properties locally as well as nationally for more than two decades.These have included small local businesses as well as major retailers such as Target, Petco, and Kroger and Verizon. Past projects include demo and multi-space remodeling and buildout to suite various tenant needs including general retail, restaurant, and office space. Jon’s other areas of experience includes management of all vendors serving the property, insurance policy compliance and claim management. He has a hands-on approach of closely monitoring properties down to the smallest detail, including everything from parking lot maintenance to day portering and security service.

Jon currently resides in Scottsdale with his wife Leah & their two young children, Sophia & Quinn. He enjoys running, hiking and spending time with his family. They love traveling and experiencing new adventures together.
